DESIGN & FABRICATION | Viacom "Live Q&A" - Press Event DETAILS: A variety of performers/ talent featured in Viacom brand content answer questions and connect with fans while also promoting new work. This set was designed to accomodate up to 10 talent comfortably but also dynamically to allow for full coverage and eye contact to anyone speaking to the surround crowd and cameras.
DESIGN & FABRICATION | International Olympic Committee "Challenge The Champs" - Sponsored Olympics Themed School Event DETAILS: "An interactive activity day / Olympic-themed event. Sponsored by DreamWorksTV and the lnternational Olympic Commitee, summer olympic events like Archery, Skatebording, Hurdling, etc... and turned them into larger-than-life interactive games for kids." The sponsors paired a current olympic athlete with their respective sport and kids could meet a professional athlete and get to play a fun fair-style game with them.
DESIGN & FABRICATION | Private Event "Suprise Birthday Party" DETAILS: A private full house surprise party for a clients daughter. Front & back yard decorations including living room. A special experimental element was requested by the client. A side room was converted into an experimental infinity room with an electric forest and interactive textures throughout.
DESIGN & FABRICATION | Private Client "Batman Cave Party" - Themed Party DETAILS: Client wanted to throw a Batman themed party but had to host in their apartment. After a consultation I designed renter-friendly decor options to not only decorate but transform the space. We leaned into the 1960's Batman aesthetic because the look could be achieved most effectively with the tight budget. They and their guests were very happy with the results.
DESIGN | "Lawless" Bar Spec "Spec Design" - Themed Bar & Event Space DETAILS: Client wanted to create a new design for an old venue. Inspired by the high-concept themed popup bars that have become so popular in LA and all around the US; With 3 or 4 different themes per year. I designed the first installment of the bar / event space to be "NYC New Years Eve" inspired. Each area reminiscent of a different iconic NYC aesthetic. The building layout needed to be totally reworked as well to accommodate enough space for the guests to mingle and explore.
CREATOR & HOST | Funny Ugly Productions "Film Cafe Film Festival" - Nationaly Touring Short Film Showcase. DETAILS: "A 2-hour film festival that served free coffee and free admission to anyone interested in short films; narrative, experimental, documentary... everything. The whole event could be followed through our website; sections of which you can see here. The Film Cafe Film Festival was a showcase of short films that toured the United States in 2016. It introduced our viewers to artists from around the world and raised money for one of the filmmakers featured; that's where our viewers stepped in. Each audience member received an info pamphlet and 3 tickets for voting. They voted for their top three and were invited to leave a donation on their way out. The winning filmmaker recieved the donations afterwards as a prize. It was an honor to organize and lead such an inspiring event. Presenting the work of my creative peers to so many different communities was exciting for everyone!
DESIGN & FABRICATION | Hulu "Q&A Cooking Challenge" - Live Stream Event DETAILS: Cast members from "All Night" go live online for a Q&A session with fans while competing in a cooking challenge. The show runners wanted to recreate a scene from the show for the backdrop of this event. The promp photo can be seen last in the included photo selection.
DESIGN | Private Client "Mingle Area" - Film Release Party DETAILS: The director wanted a fun energetic backdrop for the mingle area of their release event. After the screening, the party met in this room for drinks and horderves. The goal was to make it a space that was just as good to dance in as it was to lounge in.
DESIGN | Private Client "Surprise Dance Party" - Graduation Party & Dance Event DETAILS: A dance instructor & studio owner wanted to throw a surprise party / dance-off for one of their students. The same student needed to film an audition tape; so it was the perfect cover! We both wanted to paint the brick wall for the party but compromised for vinyl prints to color the bricks in for a little flare.
