Set Design

PRODUCTION DESIGN | DreamWorksTV "Book Biscuit" - digital review show DETAILS: "A childrens review show that takes place inside two best friends collective imagination." The entire set was built on wheels to quickly transform into new backdrops similiar to live theater. This was to accomodate for the many visual bits that were built into the show. Also, considering he studios storage situation; the build was designed to break down and fit together for easy storage.

PRODUCTION DESIGN | Popsugar, QVC "2021 Holiday Gift Guide" - live streaming show DETAILS: "A lux behind the scenes photography set with a production-aestetic. Using elevated scale & bright colors to showcase a gift guide show with guests playing holiday-themed games." We landed on using projection mapping to decorate the set with brand logos and art. This gave the client the freedom to try multiple layouts while the live show played out; ensuring the most balanced frames where captured at all times. The client provided a very specific prompt for their vision of the set; inlcuding brand colorcodes, logos, etc. We paid extra attention to match the color-codes, dimension details, etc of all the brands included in the special. The overall look and feel of this entire special I am very proud of. It is one of my favorite projects I've ever designed.

LEAD FABRICATOR, PROPS | GQ, Vogue & Gucci "The Performers" - fashion film series DETAILS: "Part of an ongoing abstract film series. Natasha Lyonne explains the process behind her on-screen presence."

CREATIVE PRODUCER | Sony "Make Movies Not Video" - ad campaign DETAILS: "Shoot iconic Los Angeles scenery to accent the abilities of the RX100VI." A production team from Hong Kong flew in to shoot this. As the LA unit we put together a large showcase of locations, props, wardrobe, etc. This ad played in Hong Kong and interntaionally alongside a full suite of ads for the RX100VI by Sony Hong Kong.

PRODUCTION DESIGN | Shab "Music To My Heat" - Music Video DETAILS: "Transform a desert town into a vibrant dance scene"

PRODUCTION DESIGN | Coyote "Intro" - 16mm music video DETAILS: "Capturing the duality of a father in a trap house. Two opposite worlds existing as one" The challenge in this one was to fully dress the home for two different worlds in the same time it would normally take to do both. My personal favorite fabrication for this video was a set of removable tension-secured stripper poles. We made them out of plastic for safety.

PROP MASTER | Black Eyed Peas "Teke Teke" - music video DETAILS: "A rooftop party with a Cuba style aesthetic to live within the world of a larger collaborative music video" The main challenge on this one was to create an outdoor hang out area that was self contained but also open enough to capitalize on the roof location and skyline.

PRODUCTION DESIGN | Visible "Mobilize" - digital series DETAILS: "Digital series that connects young activists who founded organizations that bring social good to their communities." Creating custom backgdrops and props were crucial in following brand guidelines across the board. We made Visible brand phone skins, backdrops, signage, etc. This project had a large fundraising element so it was also important that no other brands were misrepresented on screen; so extensive greeking was required. A big source of inspiration on this job was that we worked with real organizations helping real people. Always feels good when your work can go towards some kind of dedicated social change.
