The Film Café Film Festival is a traveling film showcase created by working artists. In association with producers around the country the showcase tours nationally around the United States for a month long period in August 2016. Each showing is accompanied by warm complimentary coffee and a stimulating theater viewing experience. Our goal is to get a fresh brew of perspectives in viewer’s hands and hearts around the country.

 

Here at The Film Café we have a curated selection of meaningful films from new filmmakers. Each filmmaker joins their work as it's showcased around the country through the Film Cafés website. Each film is paired with production notes, director bios, links and more that allow viewers to not only get to know the filmmakers work, but get to know the filmmakers themselves. Forget pumpkin spice, we are looking for the fresh new flavors that only young professionals in the field now can offer. 

 

The Film Café Film Festival puts emphasis on the filmmaker’s journey and how they grew to be the artist they are today. Because the origins of a coffee bean are equally as important to the coffee it yields. We may love coffee here at The Film Café, but we love movies more.

 

A fresh blend of frothy films is exactly what theaters will get when The Film Café Film Festival fills their seats and their mugs.
